Tender No.: RFP- MACI -17-001 – Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Migration to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Tender Scope: MACI invites local vendors to tender for the provision of migrating its ERP system from MS Dynamics GP 2013 to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Enterprise as is.

Description of services: MACI’s primary goal is to be the leading maritime administration in the provision of quality service to the global shipping community while continuing to build brand identity, awareness, and interest in the organisation and the services it provides. To achieve this, MACI aims to create an organisational culture of customer service excellence, promoting compliance with international standards, regional agreements and domestic legislation in the areas of maritime safety and security, pollution prevention, and social responsibility.

MACI’s focus is to always ensure maximum productivity and to continually look for ways to improve its services and customer service relationships. Through this project, MACI is seeking to migrate its current ERP system.

The project will encompass the migration of current MS Dynamics GP 2013 modules and all data via the hosted SaaS solution. The modules to be migrated are General Ledger, Payables Management, Receivables Management, Asset Management, Human Resources Management and Payroll.

Evaluation: The criteria for evaluation and the relative points weighting are included in the RFP Document. Particular attention will be paid to the vendor’s local presence and technical capability to deliver the requirements as identified by the RFP. 

Collection, Review and Return of Tender Documents: The RFP documents can either be downloaded from www.cishipping.com or be collected at the MACI Reception Counter, Government Administration Building, 133 Elgin Avenue, from Friday 08 September 2017, between the hours of 9am and 4:30 pm Monday -Thursday or 9am and 4pm on Friday.

Proposers should carefully review the issued RFP Documents including the method of communications during the RFP period, the information and deliverables required to be submitted, and the assessment criteria and evaluation methodology. 

Return of Tenders: The tenders are to be returned no later than 4PM (UTC – 5) on Thursday 28th September 2017. Tenders must be contained in sealed, plain packaging, which does not bear the name of the Tenderer and be addressed:

Late Tenders received by the DTC will not be opened and will be returned without assessment.

Communications during Tender Period: Tenderers shall communicate with MACI responsible parties via email to rfp@cishipping.com. Tenderers are requested to submit any and all questions by Friday 22nd September 2017. All queries received shall be posted to www.cishipping.com along with the response.

MACI will not defray any cost incurred by Tenderers in the preparation of Tenders; MACI is under no obligation to accept any or the lowest bid; the contract will be awarded to the successful bidder subject to all applicable Cayman Islands Laws; the Tender Process and the Tenders shall be subject to the Freedom of Information Legislation.
