The Cayman Registry, a division of Cayman Maritime, was established in 1903 and today the Register covers the full spectrum of vessel types, including commercial ships and private pleasure yachts. The Registry maintains headquarters in the Cayman Islands and a European Regional Office in Southampton, UK, with global representation in the USA, UK, Italy, France, Netherlands, Monaco, Greece, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands (MACI) is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified companies/individual to undertake filing of documentation in its Human Resources (HR) Division. The position is not office-based, but fully remote working, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing the following services: -
- electronic filing of HR related and other miscellaneous documentation
- any other duties as requested from time to time by the Global Director, HR or designate.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
To perform this job effectively the applicant must be able to perform the duties to a satisfactory level. In addition, the post holder must possess the following: -
- High School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience related within a similar organization.
- A proven track record performing duties in a similar capacity is preferred.
- Strong IT, organisational, prioritisation and detail-oriented skills within established procedures.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team.
- Knowledge of and experience in the Maritime Sector would be beneficial.
