Re: HURRICANE ALERT – George Town Office Closure, Remote Working.

The Cayman Islands Government declared a Hurricane Alert for the Cayman Islands on 23 September 2022. The Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands (Cayman Maritime) and the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry (Cayman Registry) office in George Town, Grand Cayman will be closed to the public on Monday 26 September 2022.

During this time, George Town staff will be working remotely. Subject to Government recommendations, the office will re-open on Tuesday 27 September 2022.

In the event that we are unable to courier originals from Grand Cayman, we are able to email the documents to one of our representative offices in Ft. Lauderdale, France, Greece, Japan, London, Panama or Singapore for finalization.
